About the role

The Product Manager / Venture Developer turns promising opportunities into products, services and business concepts that can be tested in the real world. You will work from the customer problem through to the proposed solution, helping determine what should be built, how it should work and what is required to bring it to life.

What you'll do

  • Translate customer needs and market opportunities into product or service concepts
  • Develop product and service propositions
  • Map customer journeys and experiences
  • Develop MVP concepts and prototypes
  • Define product requirements and specifications
  • Work with customers to test and improve concepts
  • Develop and refine business models
  • Work with suppliers, technical partners and other stakeholders where required
  • Coordinate product development activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing concepts
  • Support the transition of validated ventures into operating businesses
  • Work closely with Business Analysis, Finance and Business Development

What we're looking for

  • A degree or equivalent training in Product Management, Product Design, Business, Engineering, Design, Technology, Entrepreneurship or a related field
  • Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience is an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Good understanding of customers and user experience
  • Ability to turn ideas into practical solutions
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing requirements
  • Creative, curious and commercially minded
  • Willingness to learn and work across different types of businesses
